Club Matters Awareness Workshops

Sport Birmingham are pleased to inform you about a new project that we are co-ordinating to support local community sports clubs with their ongoing development.
A lot of clubs have told us that they would like additional support with aspects of running a sports club so we are delivering a local project aimed to engage more community sports clubs/organisations with the new Club Matters online resource and toolkit (www.sportenglandclubmatters.com), assist with planning for future development and receive additional support around topics such as finance, marketing and club management.

All of the support available to local clubs is FREE of charge – including Club Matters awareness/navigation workshops, localised club networks for ongoing support, Club Matters topic-specific resources and workshops, and Sport Birmingham Club Mentors to offer one-to-one support.

As the first phase of this project, we are delivering short Club Matters awareness/navigation workshops for local clubs to find out more about the Club Matters toolkit – how it can be used to support your development as a club/organisation and the resources available to you, as well as additional information about the future aspects of the project that we hope to engage local clubs with to offer further support. These hour long workshops will be delivered as follows:

·         Thursday 10th September, 5:30-6:30pm @ Sport Birmingham offices

·         Tuesday 15th September, 3-4pm @ Fox Hollies Leisure Centre

·         Tuesday 29th September, 5:30-6:30pm @ Moseley School

Additional workshops may be added at different times/locations dependent on demand.
